My name is Alisha, and I’m a self-taught tattoo artist, illustrator, and graphic designer based in Brooklyn, New York. Born in Tokyo and raised in Albuquerque and San Jose, my inspiration draws from the people, places, and experiences that have shaped me. I currently tattoo out of a private studio in Gowanus, Brooklyn.

When I’m not tattooing, I enjoy cooking, drinking green tea, trying new restaurants, and spending time with my husband and four pets.

My work is inspired by traditional American tattooing and everyday imagery around me, with a focus on creating tattoos that feel approachable and personal. I’m drawn to familiar objects, small observations, nostalgic references, and moments from daily life that naturally find their way into my drawings and flash. Through black-and-white tattooing and hand-drawn designs, I aim to create timeless work that feels thoughtful, welcoming, and easy to connect with.
