Aftercare

Day 1-3

  • Keep your bandage on for at least 2 hours. The longest it should be left on is overnight.
  • When removing your bandage: first wash your hands with antibacterial/unscented soap, then rinse tattoo with warm water and pat dry with a clean paper towel.
  • Apply a very thin layer of ointment (Aquaphor). Avoid using too much ointment can affect the healing process.
  • The tattoo will have some redness, soreness, and slight heat for up to one week. If there are any abnormalities, please take photos and reach out!
  • Wash with warm water twice a day (no soap)

Day 4-14

  • The tattoo will begin to peel and flake, similar to a bad sunburn.
  • Continue to wash with warm water twice a day (no soap)
  • Switch to a mild unscented lotion (Lubriderm or coconut oil) instead of ointment.
  • Don’t workout or sit in a sauna
  • Don’t soak in water (ie. bath, hot tub, pool, beach, etc.)
  • Don’t scratch
  • Don’t sunbathe

Day 14-30

  • For the best results, apply sunscreen.
  • Don’t soak in water (ie. bath, hot tub, pool, beach, etc.)
  • Don’t scratch
  • Don’t sunbathe

Day 30

  • Tattoos should be healed within a month, but this can vary by person, size, and details of the tattoo.
  • Once healed, please take a photo under natural light and send it over!
